Making the most of your first season in Meadowgrove Days
Meadowgrove Days is relaxed enough that you can play it badly and still have a nice time. But a bit of planning in your first season sets you up for a much richer second one.
Plant with the season in mind. Each crop only grows in certain months, so check the almanac before you sow a whole field of something that's about to go out of season. We wasted a week of growth learning this the hard way.
Talk to everyone in town early. Relationships build slowly, and the sooner you start chatting, the sooner you unlock the recipes and shop upgrades tied to friendship levels.
Don't over-invest in animals on day one. They need daily care and feed before they pay off, so get your crop income stable first, then bring in a chicken or two.
Most of all, let it be slow. Meadowgrove Days isn't trying to fill every minute, and the best way to enjoy it is to match that unhurried rhythm.
