About

Keelbox Play started as a group chat between three friends who kept sending each other screenshots of levels we were stuck on. At some point we figured we might as well write things down properly, so here we are. Everything you read on this site comes from someone who actually opened the game and played past the tutorial.

We don't chase every release. A game gets a full guide only after at least one of us has spent real time with it — enough to know whether the difficulty curve is fair, whether the controls hold up, and whether it's still fun after the first evening. If a title doesn't click, we say so.

Our picks lean toward variety. We like RPGs, we like quick arcade runs, we like strategy games that make you think on the commute. The goal is a catalogue broad enough that most readers find something for their taste.

We're a small independent team, not tied to any studio or publisher. That means our opinions are our own, and sometimes they're blunt. We think that's the point.
